Critics and growers alike consider 2010 to have been Long Island's first "world-class" vintage and it shows in the full bodied Merlot. Picked on Thanksgiving of 2010 (an unheard of late harvest for the North Fork) this Merlot was aged in New French Oak barrels for 32 months prior to bottling. Featuring bold notes of blueberries, leather, cigar and roasted figs, this is one of those wines to savor to the last drop.
