For Claudia Purita, sustainability and self-reliance have always been a way of life. Growing up on her family’s farm in Calabria, Italy, Claudia assisted in growing vegetables and wine grapes and raising small animals from very young age. At her father, Domenico’s, side she learned to value the land and the fruits that it provides. After moving to Long Island and spending several years in the restaurant industry, Claudia decided it was time to “return to her roots.”
Much of the vineyard was hand planted and each vine has been meticulously tended to by Claudia’s exacting touch. Day in and out, she has labored, largely by herself, to produce the highest quality fruit. The superiority of her work is evident in each of the wines made from the vineyard. A few sips will lead you to appreciate just what one woman’s hard work can produce.
One Woman Winery is a proud member of Long Island Sustainable Winegrowers Association. We have maintained our vineyard and winery with the most strict sustainability standards. From not using herbicides or harsh pesticides, being a full farm in addition to a vineyard - One Woman strives to be self-sustainable and low impact on our surrounding environment.

Open Everyday Except Tuesday 11:30 AM - 6 PM
Our new tasting room is located in the red barns to the left of our original tasting shed (yes, with real bathrooms, heat, and cozy indoor seating!)
No groups over six people (you can't split up and will be turned away), no buses, and no limos.
Dogs are not allowed inside our new tasting room but are welcome on the outdoor patio & picnic area on a leash. Outside food allowed (no outside alcohol)

Reservations are highly recommended as space is limited. Each show has a minimum spend per person or a cover fee depending on the artist.
